Pre-k 3, 4, K and 1st – PreK through 1st grade Bible lessons take your child on a
journey through the Garden of Eden with lessons on Creation, the first flood, the Tower
of Babel, Abraham’s trust in God, the lives of Jacob and Joseph, Christ’s life as a child,
His early and later ministry, Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection, and the life of Paul. Each
lesson teaches about God’s mercy and faithfulness that is consistently displayed
throughout the Bible.
3rd Grade – The Bible semester will begin with lessons on Salvation and end with the
action-packed accounts of David and his family’s lives. After Christmas break, your child
will learn all about the lives of Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther. While
learning these lessons, your child can develop a strong Biblical worldview.
Deep Roots Bible

2nd Grade – Deep Roots 2nd grade year emphasizes key events in the life of Jesus,
including His baptism, miracles, parables, crucifixion, and resurrection, helping students
grow in their understanding of the gospel and personal faith. Students also engage in
three one-week holiday units covering Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
Additionally, three bonus units address general biblical topics such as the church and
Christian living.
4th grade - The fourth grade Bible curriculum emphasis is on the early church, the
ministry and missionary journeys of Paul, and the spread of the gospel. Through these
lessons, students gain a deeper understanding of the New Testament and how to apply
biblical truth to their lives. Students explore three holiday units—Thanksgiving,
Christmas, and Easter—as well as three bonus units that cover general topics like
prayer and salvation.
5th grade - The fifth Grade Bible curriculum explores major Old Testament figures and
events, including Job, Deborah, Ruth, David, Elijah, and Daniel. Lessons also cover key
themes such as the divided kingdom, the fall of Jerusalem, and God faithfulness
through exile. Additional units reinforce important theological concepts such as the
Trinity, Biblical family structure, and God's ultimate victory over evil.
6th grade - The sixth grade Bible curriculum explores key moments in Jesus's ministry,
including His miracles, parables, and teachings on discipleship. The curriculum
emphasizes both biblical content and interpretation, with in-depth studies of Romans,
Ephesians, Colossians, James, and 2 Peter. Through inductive study, students learn to
observe, interpret, and apply Scripture on their own. The year concludes with a focus on
biblical teaching about the End Times, helping students understand God's ultimate plan
for redemption.
7th grade: Students will become familiar with the distinct message of each Old
Testament book, be able to articulate God’s persistent, unconditional love for His people throughout Scripture, and identify God’s plan to be in relationship with His people through the work of the promised Messiah, Jesus.

8th Grade – “The Triumph of Christ” encourages students to have a passion for growth
in Christlikeness as they build a biblical worldview piece-by-piece. The book of Acts
covers Christ’s role in the development of His church. The Epistles show the truths that
ground believers and allow them to live out the Great Commission. Finally, Revelation is
the climactic fulfillment of Christ's triumph over all things.
10th Grade - “Biblical Worldview” helps equip students to understand, defend, and
share their faith and to apply a biblical perspective and presuppositional apologetics to
the current "hot button" issues in our culture.
Summit Ministries

9th Grade - “Foundations” - Covers the nature and authority of the Bible, the profound
narrative woven within its pages, and the core tenets of Christian living. “Foundations”
equips students with a profound understanding of the Bible’s metanarrative and its
implications for personal and communal life.
11th & 12th Grade - “The Understanding the Times Series” from Summit Ministries
teaches biblical worldview, the Great Commission, understanding competing
worldviews, and gives instruction on how to engage today's culture and defend the faith
with sound theology and apologetics.
