Welcome
Dear CCA Families and Friends,

Welcome to Columbus Christian Academy!
Located in the heart of Mississippi, Columbus Christian Academy is a covenant Christian school serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. For more than 40 years, CCA has faithfully partnered with families in Lowndes County and the surrounding communities, providing an education rooted in academic excellence and unwavering biblical truth.
Our school is built upon a rich Christian heritage and a legacy of faithful leadership that established a strong foundation of excellence. As we continue that legacy, we remain committed to developing students who are prepared not only for success in the classroom, but also for a life of faith, character, and service.
At Columbus Christian Academy, we often talk about three things that every student can control each day: their effort, their attitude, and how they treat others.
First, we believe in giving our very best effort in everything we do. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” Whether in the classroom, on the athletic field, on the stage, or in service to others, we encourage our students to pursue excellence because their work is ultimately an act of worship to God. Success is not measured solely by results, but by faithfulness in giving our best each day.
Second, we strive to cultivate Christ-like attitudes. In Philippians 2:3-5, Paul instructs believers to do nothing out of selfish ambition, but in humility to value others above themselves and to have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. In a world that often promotes self-interest, we want our students to learn the importance of humility, gratitude, perseverance, and servant leadership. A positive, Christ-centered attitude has the power to impact every relationship and every opportunity God places before us.
Finally, we believe that how we treat others matters deeply. When asked about the greatest commandments, Jesus taught us to love God and to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39). He later told His disciples, “By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). We desire for our campus to be a place where kindness, respect, encouragement, and genuine Christian love are evident in every classroom, every hallway, and every activity.
These values are strengthened by the incredible community God has assembled at CCA. Our school family includes members from more than 50 local churches, united by a shared faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Together, we partner with parents to develop students who are equipped to lead with conviction, serve with humility, and make a positive impact for Christ wherever God calls them.
One of the unique blessings of Columbus Christian Academy is that we are small enough to provide a close-knit, family atmosphere while being large enough to offer a wide range of academic opportunities, extracurricular activities, fine arts, and athletics. It is a privilege to lead a dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to discipling students, encouraging growth, and pointing young people toward God’s purpose for their lives.
As Scripture reminds us, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10). Everything we do at CCA flows from our desire to honor Christ and help students develop both a biblical worldview and a lifelong relationship with Him.
We are grateful for all the Lord has done through Columbus Christian Academy over the past four decades, and we look forward with excitement and confidence to what He will continue to do in the years ahead. We invite you to visit our campus and experience firsthand the Christ-centered community that makes CCA such a special place.
At Columbus Christian Academy, we are committed to giving our best effort, maintaining a Christ-like attitude, and loving others well. When those values are lived out daily, students not only grow academically—they grow into the men and women God has created them to be.
In Christ,
