Columbus Christian Academy has been blessed with a rich Christian heritage as an academically and spiritually strong school serving families in Columbus and the surrounding areas since 1978! Originally founded by Reverend Mike Stephens as a ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church, Immanuel Christian School grew under the leadership, prayer and support of the church and the many families who cherished it.
Columbus Christian Academy (affectionately known as “CCA) has been on the current campus since 2004. With a focus on excellence, the school became the only K-3 through 12 school in Mississippi to achieve accreditations of Christian, public and private school academic associations. These prestigious accreditations include MAIS-Mississippi Association of Independent Schools, SACS-Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and ACSI-Association of Christian Schools International.
Effective June 30, 2014 the school officially experienced a name change and came to stand on its own. Columbus Christian Academy remains an academically and spiritually strong school, continuing to serve the students and families of the Columbus area with a true Christ-centered education.
We partner with and embrace the strong support of our families and local evangelical churches! We are continually thankful for the provision of God in the past and we look forward with expectation to all that awaits Columbus Christian Academy in the future! We invite you to partner with us as we keep Christ first and continue to pursue excellence academically, spiritually, athletically and socially for our students!
